AIGA Colorado sprouts green initiative
AIGA Colorado is putting down roots to grow sustainability in its design community. Come on out for an inaugural green event on the eve of the “Next: AIGA Design Conference.” The salon will take place Wednesday, October 10, from 8:30–10:30 pm at the Denver Press Club.
What is our vision for sustainable design? How can we practice green design? How do we speak about sustainability? How do we demonstrate the value of sustainable design?
- Socialize over drinks with the growing green design community
- Learn about the AIGA Center for Sustainable Design from Phil Hamlett and Marc Alt
- Gain insight on green certification from Sherry Graham and Deborah Wheeler of xpedx
- Network with established green-practicing designers from around the country
- Discuss sustainable design with other green-curious designers
